Since its inception almost three years ago, the team at
25 Center Street has pursued a goal of providing fine dinning in relaxed
and contemporary atmosphere. What regular guest have come to expect are
the freshest ingredients, all prepare on-premise, then served with
professionalism and courtesy but with out the air of arrogance that
might accompany larger "established" eateries.
The staff - which hasn't change since restaurant
inception-knows many of the frequent dinners by name, adding the
comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant. Whether it is the casual break
from work for lunch, a gathering of friends for dinner and drinks, or a
romantic evening for two, 25 Center Street has something in it for
everyone.
The menu features fresh seafood-prepared with care and
creativity; flavorful aged steaks hand cut by the chef; chicken made
like you have never had before; tender, juicy pork chops; duck specials
everyday; veal that simply deserves a try. Diners should also know that
at 25 Center Street all of the breads, desserts, soup and sauces are
made in-house.
The menu continues to move forward with original specials
and menu revisions-already four new menus since opening-as well as
creating totally different menus for the extravagant wine dinners that
are held at 25 Center Street throughout the year. With the
upcoming outdoor dinning season will surely come yet another revision of
our cuisine.
Once known as the "best kept secret in town", today 25
Center Street has earned the reputation as the first fine-dinning
restaurant in Southington downtown Renaissance. With new season on the
horizon, the staff looks forward to welcoming you with new wine and
martini menus and constantly evolving food menu.
